Tiny Tiger Requirements
Each Tiny Tiger Belt Level has 5 stripes that they can earn on their belt. Normally, the last Monday and Wednesday of the month (see monthly calendar) is when we do our Tiger Stripe Evaluation. If a student earns all 5 stripes on their belt, they will be eligible to test for their next belt at the next scheduled examination. Our Tiger Belt Exams are held every two months.

White Belt to Yellow Stripe Belt
Time Period: Two Months
Form (Hyung) – Green Tape:
- The first 4 moves of Giecho Hyung Il Bu (Basic Form 1)
Basic Hand & Foot Techniques (In Place) – Red Tape:
- Ha Dan Mah Kee – Low Block
- Sang Dan Mah Kee – High Block
- Choong Dan Kong Kyuck – Middle Punch
- Ahp Cha Gi – Front Kick (fighting stance)
- Dull Ryo Cha Gi – Round Kick (horse stance)
Self Defense #1 (Single Grab) – Blue Tape:
- Move towards threat, bend arm, grab your own wrist, pull free and run to safety.
Board Breaking – Black Tape:
- Stomp Break
General Knowledge Questions – White Tape:
- Style You Study – Tang Soo Do
- Count #1-10 (Korean) – Hana, Dol, Set, Net, Doset, Yoset, Ill Gup, Yodul, Ihop, Yole

Yellow Stripe Belt to Orange Stripe Belt
Time Period: Two Months

Self Defense #2 (Double Wrist Grab) – Blue Tape:
- Move towards threat, bend arm, grab your own wrist, pull up and out and run to safety

General Knowledge – White Tape:
- Recite Tang Soo Do Articles # 1 & 2 (Be loyal to your country & Be obedient to your parents)

They will now graduate to the Traditional Program (see monthly calendar for class times). Since the Traditional Program offers longer and more class times, the tuition will adjust to $99 per month. Please see our staff with any questions.
